The mobile market has been steadily expanding for some time now, and the latest data shows even stronger growth.
Mobile bookings are growing faster than desktop. External research by Performance Advertising Company Criteo shows a 20% increase in mobile bookings in the first six months of 2014, compared with an increase of just 2% in desktop bookings.
The Asia Pacific region leads the way, with 20% of travel bookings now being taken on a mobile device.

Our statistics show that 25% of our client’s bookings are coming from mobile, whether it be phone or tablet. This has shown growth of 4% on average in the last 3 months.
It is imperative that you have a mobile responsive booking form on your website, so that you are in a position to capture bookings whether they come from desktop, mobile, tablet, apple or android. Make it as easy as possible for the user and link it to your property management software to enhance the user experience.
Savvy travel advertisers need to be thinking strategically about marketing across all channels and platforms, and ensuring that the customer experience that they are providing for all platforms is second to none. The competitiveness of the travel industry demands that you keep the process as simple as possible for the user to give yourself the best chance of capturing as many bookings and return customers as possible.
