Surfers Paradise Festival is on 2nd – 26th April 2014
Surfers Paradise Festival showcases food, music and entertainment in Surfers Paradise with some fantastic, colorful, fun events for all the family. It runs throughout the school holidays.
If you are an accommodation provider on the Gold Coast, you should certainly be taking advantage of these great events in your content marketing, social media posts and website blogs. Make sure your guests are aware of what’s on so that they can take advantage of all the free entertainment available to them during this time.
Here is a short (but by no means exhaustive) run down of what is happening over the next couple of weeks;
Saturday 12th April – Surf, Sea and Symphony
Held along the foreshore and also in Cavill Mall, this event will showcase lots of food stalls with the Coast’s best Seafood and International Cuisine, followed by a symphony on the beach with guest artists, and fireworks
Friday 18th – Monday 21st April – Australian Street Entertainment Championships
Be blown away by a diverse selection of street entertainers all vying for your attention and the title of Australia’s Champion Street Entertainer! Runs daily from 10am till 7pm along the foreshore, Cavill Mall and the Beach Volleyball Courts
Friday 25th April – Seafire Fireworks Challenge
Seafire Fireworks Challenge from 7pm
Saturday 26th April – One-Way Street Party
Indie bands, live art and street markets with vintage fashions. Followed by SIPfest Shorts In Paradise Film Festival. Held In Appel Street Surfers Paradise
